Nogi acts tough, but she's really no match for Maelstrom. Arlina and Karlaia were taken completely off guard by that attack as well.  You'll have to wait for the next page to see the aftermath.  The fact that Maelstrom is ignoring the girls should tell you that the results were not pretty.

Is Tadden running off to get his weapons or his friends.  I don't think Maelstrom will give him the chance to do either.
