Karlaia must have been waiting by the flour mill for a long time.  She'll be waiting forever if she waits for the guys to show up since they seem to have forgotten all about her.  Somehow I don't think her patience will last much longer.

Like the mill in the last panel?  I spend two hours hand drawing that.  I usually work digitally, but occasionally I'll draw on paper.  Every Thursday I get together with my fellow artists, draw together, and support each others efforts.  This week I figured I would draw the flour mill so that I would have a nice drawing in the comic and not have to rush to get something done for the panel.  The image looks a lot nicer with the penciled drawing then it would have looked if I have quickly inked it in like I usually do.

I played around with the shadows again and I think they look pretty good on this page.  I'll keep experimenting and improving my art style.
